Great article! I think even Jeff Sutherland would approve. It’s not new news, but when agile development just becomes another set of hard rules and dogmatic adherence to procedure for procedure’s sake it really does start to drift away from the point. What’s the point of creating a self-managing, cross-functional team and then immediately disempowering them? Glad your hypothesis is holding true!
