Yup, MoSCoW is pretty horrible - you just end up with 50 Musts, 30 Shoulds, 120 Coulds crufting up your backlog. By the time you've finished your 50 Musts you've got another 25 Musts. So when do you get to the Shoulds? Whither the Coulds? After all that, which Must should you do first??

I'm not a fan of overengineering prioritisation frameworks but MoSCoW is almost aggressively underengineered. If you can't use it to help objectively decide between two things, what's the point? Still feels like it was mainly chosen because it was a nice acronym.
